Being a wedding photographer in Ireland means shooting in beautiful castles,
historic houses and exploring wonderful countryside. But that’s not all.
Sometimes it happens you jump on a boat to capture an island wedding.
Johanna and Michael travelled all the way from the UK to get married on Inishturk Island
in county Mayo, a place where Johanna grew up. It was a huge pleasure for me to join them for two days.
The sea was very choppy on the way to the island, thanks to my small Fuji camera
– which I don’t usually use on weddings – I was able to shoot in these challenging conditions!
The ceremony was in a small church 20 meters away from the bride’s house followed by
a marquee drinks reception all surrounded by the ocean, a beautiful landscape and views of Connemara.
I’m excited to share this island wedding with you,
Enjoy!
A wedding day.
