It’s always nice to ‘come home’ and shoot a local wedding, especially after exploring much of Ireland with what I do. While it’s nice to have the opportunity to visit new places, being able to shoot in Sligo is always a treat, and Kati and Aidan’s wedding was absolutely no exception. Aidan and Kati live in Luxembourg, and decided to get married in Ireland (Aidan is Irish) at Castle Dargan in the cozy Coach House Lounge. Their wedding was an intimate affair in an historic setting, with preparations taking place in the 200 year old Castle Dargan House, and the civil ceremony held in the main hotel. What was a truly incredible experience, though, was being able to visit Strandhill with the couple – a small, charming village near Sligo and one of my favourite places to visit for a relaxing walk. I wanted to be able to capture Aidan and Kati’s first special moments as husband and wife, and was so happy to come back with beautiful, intimate pictures that truly celebrated the love between them. I can’t thank Aidan and Kati enough for being such a warm, inviting, and laid back couple to work with. It was an honour to be a part of your special day!
